The colored lights under the logo on your tCheck device indicate status. Here is a list of the colors and their meanings.
Green-green-green: The device is performing Power-On Self Test (POST). Normally, POST takes about 20-30 seconds.
Blue-blue-green: The device is ready to accept a BLE (Bluetooth low-energy) connection with the app.
Blue-blue-blue: The device is ready for the next user interaction. It could be any of 3 conditions:
- The device is connected to the app and ready to run a test
- The device is ready for the next step in the testing process
- The device has completed a test and is ready for the next test
Blue-blue-purple: The device is running a test. The purple dot will cycle during each internal point in the testing process. Each process step may take 10-15 seconds.
Purple-purple-purple: The device is ready to perform a firmware update.
Yellow-yellow-yellow: Batteries are low. The device can still run tests, however, you should replace the batteries soon.
Red-red-white: The device encountered an error. This could be for several reasons:
- Batteries are too low and the device cannot perform a measurement or complete POST (most common reason)
