HOW TO - find the percentage of THC or CBD from mg/mL

The most accurate way to measure your THC or CBD percentage from your mg/mL result, would be to take the density of your oil, input your result, and finish the equation below. We use the following density figures as averages: 

• MCT / Coconut oil: 0.945 

• Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO): 0.916 

• Butter / ghee: 0.950 

• Alcohol: 0.789 

To go from mg/mL: 

• (reading in mg/ml) * 0.1 / (density) = potency in percent
