tCheck2 will be able to measure infused butter, coconut oil, alcohol and olive oil at initial release. Additional oils and base solvents will be added in future module upgrades. Because we add capabilities based on customer demand, please drop us a line with your vote on the base you want (e.g. VG, honey, grapeseed oil, etc.)

tCheck2 will be able to differentiate between CBx and THx. Measurement results will be shown in terms of mg of THx and mg of CBx in your infusion.
tCheck2 is shipped with a re-usable tray. For oil / alcohol infusion tests, there are no additional consumables. Various features such as the botanical breakdown capability may additional subscription or module costs.
Wash with warm water and dish soap. Do not use solvents such as acetone as that will permanently damage the tray.
That depends on how much you use the device. Under normal use conditions, a set of batteries should last 4-6 months.

Measurement results will not be automatically imported from tCheck Classic into the app.
It depends on the botanical. We recommend that you infuse the material first, test, then infuse the other materials.
Various botanicals (THCx THxa, CBx) have different UV absorbancies at each wavelength. tCheck adjusts the wavelength and intensity of light to target the botanticals being measured.
Because tCheck does not have the ability to measure these oils directly, you can still use tCheck to achieve a relative potency. The absolute number will not be exact. Use the coconut oil setting to perform your measurements every time and you can compare one batch against another. Please let us know what oils you would like for us to add. Email email@example.com.

+/- 15% of the reading. tCheck provides the results in terms of milligrams of bontanicals per volume of liquid such as mg per teaspoon. If your result is 15 mg/tsp, then the margin or error is +/- 2.25 mg/tsp. Repeatability of measurements is also within +/- 15%. Because temperature plays an important role in the accuracy of the measurement, all calibration testing is performed with the device and analyte temperatures at 75*F (24*C). Butter is calibrated at 105*F (40*C).
